Why balance in crucial
In this day and age, it’s pretty hard to keep up with the work more, push more, get more mentality, but the more we do of this, the more likely we are to get burned out. There needs to be a balance between working hard to achieve your goals and resting in between the hustle in order to keep doing life efficiently.
Example of balance
For example, there was a snow storm where we are in the northeast USA, and this storm dumped 24 inches of snow on us. A friend of mine was already in work doing overtime starting at 6am, but then he was given the option to stay overnight to keep up with the storm, and he would be compensated for my time, even while he slept. This sounds awesome, right? Yes, it does sound pretty awesome until he tried to go to sleep and was tossing and turning all night which didn’t make for a good 4am wake up. He found when he got up the next morning to begin moving more snow, he was groggy, tired, malnourished, and didn’t feel like himself. By the time 4pm hit when he was heading out he had two decisions to make. First decision he had was to either stay at work and continue to help move the snow around, or go home and finally get some well needed rest. This is an important decision when it comes to balance, do you stay and make more money to work towards your goals or do you go home and rest and allow yourself the ability to think clearly or perform at your best? To every person out there, the decision is different and both options are valuable.

In instance when you budget to help save some money, if you do this with extreme deprivation you will find yourself finding it hard to sustain in the long term. Balance provides a lot of productivity in your life.Balance helps you enjoy life without guilt because you are taking the time to weigh your options and focus on keeping both options happy.
